Mesa Mark IIC+ and ME PMEQ eq

Hello guys,

Here’s some testing. I bought this great EQ and scooped some tones. It’s a whole lot different than any other eq I have ever tried. It brings some “colour” to the tone also.

Sounds great. I bought one a month ago, and then I ordered two more last week. I want to try one with the MK IIC+ RI I ordered when it arrives. I am using one with my MK III++. For this type of sound, the PMEQ is better than any of the other parametric EQs I have tried, like the Empress Para EQ.

I don't know how anyone can stand to use any amp without parametric EQ in the loop...

I patched ch 1 out -> ch 2 in to make this rack unit a 1-channel 10-band fully parametric + 4-band semi-parametric.

Absolutely this one suit’s perfect with the Mark II/III/IV series. Earlier I used MXR M108 which was great but this one is something different. With these kind of tones it’s hard to beat understandably. After all it’s based on legendary Aphex EGF-2
