Lead 2 of Quad dead

All of a sudden, no sound is coming from Lead 2 anymore : Rhythm 2 and the whole of Channel 1 are still working.
Any ideas?

Perhaps tube V13 is dead.

Try swapping tube V13 with V23. If the tube is faulty, CH2 Lead should come back to life and CH1 Lead should sound dead instead.

For tube position.

And please make sure you have disconnected your Quad from the wall wart and left like that for a few minutes before you open it up. Inside your preamp there are potentially lethal voltages.

Luckily, I had two tubes (Tung sol) lying around, so it was pretty quickly fixed.
