Anyone know what the hell is that green rack thing in the right flightcase? Someone told me is a custom preamp built by Mesa for Dual Recto sounds........ :?:

You know I remember there being a lot of talk about what the green thing was and I honestly don't recall what the final verdict was. Being a Mesa was something I remember though. A mesa proto, recto recorder pre maybe.

I saw JP do his Roadking spiel at my local Guitar store. Real nice guy did a pretty decent job explaining his rig and of course played for about an hour, nice free concert. I think his lead tone still sounds like a MKIIC+ and his rhythm tone can be gotten with the EQ. Add the clean which both amps do and the MKIIC+ can darn near cover the four channels of the Roadking. I am down loading the vids now thanks.
