IIc+ withdrawal

patiently waiting for the return of my IIc+ from Mike B. another week and a half to 2 weeks

getting EQ added as well as my fx loops fixed and just a general look over by the man for any other issues that may be lurking

God i cant wait to get my baby back ...

ughhhhhhhhhhh IIc+ withdrawal sucks ass !

Hey, sorry if dumb question. How are they adding eq? So yours was not eq faceplate?

When I spoke to Mike B., he said they were out of Mark II faceplates and were using Mark III faceplates and blacking out the Rhy II over the Mid pot.

If you want an EQ you may want to hurry. The last time I spoke to Mike he said
he was using MK III fader boards and etching the EQ amp boards one at a time.
Mesa is also very low on MK III faceplates.

no my 60 watt is a no simul no eq with reverb ( no eq yet )

I bet! I might call today, and see about it also. Mine was serviced in 9/2008, so not a lot should be wrong with it right now if anything, hopefully. Do you know if doing that defaces the value?

I hear that brother! I just got off the phone with Mike a few hours ago because I sent mine in to get the routine checkup about 3 weeks ago. IIC+ withdrawal IS a bitch!

I got my IIC+ back a week ago, I've only had a chance to play thru it briefly, ( I had a mark IIC converted to a plus) I have to say that even with the limited time I got to spend with it the difference was STAGGERING!

Harmonic feedback, grit and growl and enuff gain to make ya cry! 8)

last time i was home i had my mark III , before that IIc ,the time before that my triple rec...

Yeah, I called Mike B. the day I asked you about the eq upgrade. He said that you actually got the very last mark iii faceplate, lol. He said it could be possible that he might have a blemished one around somewhere, but he would have to really dig deep to possibly find one. It's cool though, he specifically recommended the presonus eq3b through the loop. He said that this one is as close as it would get, without actually having the onboard eq. I bought one the same day, however have not had a chance to try it out though. I will let everyone know what I think, but it Mike said it would be the best choice as an external eq for the C+, that is good enough for me.

So you are getting pretty close to having back by now, right?

Thats how I was when Mike called me and told me mine was ready too! Mine will be here Tuesday, and my brand new Stiletto 4x12 straight will be here Wednesday. It's Christmas in March! Haha.
