Cool thanks, TBH I had Mesa MS-12 GAS for a long while. They are pretty hard to come by and the GAS has since faded to the non frenzy level. LOL Pic for attention

Hey Appleridge,

I owe you an apology! I was pulling some of my cabs apart to do some maintenance, and you were right! I DO IN FACT HAVE SOME EMINENCE SPEAKERS hiding in one of my 4x12s! Good eye my friend!

Also, I found the old thread where they were originally discussed, and I’m posting it here, so that we can tie the speaker conversations together…

So, anyway, yes, I have an older 4YB cab that has the typical C90s on top, and the Eminence on the closed bottom. Here’s some pics that will provide some evidence! So in another decade, when I forget what I have, we can all reference them here! Haha!

I just picked up a metal grill Mesa 4x12 cab that appears to have the same speaker configuration as this one. Trying to figure out the year of the cab but all Mesa could tell me is that is was late 80s / early 90s.

That’s too cool!

Well, it looks like your Eminence speakers were born in the 30th week of 1995, so I’m guessing your cab may be built sometime around then!

I didn't think Mesa put rear plates on the metal grill cabs like the one above. I was of the impression they phased the metal grill Mark cabs out in 1992 in favor of the traditional cab we all know.
