Hey guys. Bought myself a 1993 Trem-O-Verb combo a few weeks ago and have been having fun with it. It had a little mains buzz, so I changed out all of the filter and bias caps. Now most of the channels are pretty darn quiet for a higher gain amp. This is my first Recto. I've have a couple of 50 Calibers (highly underrated, I think) but never a Recto. Clean, Vintage HG and Blues are all pretty quiet, but the Modern Red has a deep hum to it. It's not overbearing but I was just wondering if that is normal just by virtue of the negative feedback being switched off in that mode. I did change out all tubes including rectifiers just to test but no difference. Otherwise Modern Red is pretty **** brutal.
