hi,

i own a MarkIIC. I bought it to a guy who didn't know if it was simul class or not. How can I see if it is or not ?

Look at the back panel of your amp. On the top right-hand side there should be a toggle switch with a label that reads "Simul-Class" (top) and "Class A" (bottom). If the label reads "100" (top) and "60" (bottom), that it should be a 60/100W amp.

Check out the back panel photos on Boogiewan Kenobi's web site (the amp shown in the photos are not Mk.II, but the location of the switch is the same as the Mk.II):

However, there is always a possibility that the label was switched prior to your ownership, if the amp was purchased used. I suppose the best way to tell is to have a look at the chassis.

check the output transformer part number. also, you can call MB with the serial number and they might be able to tell you
