How to date a Studio 22?

Do you have the .22 or the .22+? I had both but I recently sold my .22+ so I could keep the .22 (I liked the tone better). The .22+ had a serial number badge but my .22 doesn't. I wasn't sure if it used to have the badge but it was removed at some point, or maybe if the early .22s weren't numbered.
 
I am trying to recall was Mesa Boogie told me.
I guess that the serial number range for Studios .22+ goes from FP11,500 (December 88) up to FP28,560 (August 93).

I don't know of any scheme, but you should be able to call Mesa and give them the serial number. They can at least give you an approximation of it's production date. OR, you can slide the chassis out and take a look at the circuit board. There's usually a hand-written date on it somewhere...
