I've paid over $9000 cumulatively. But some of the stuff has been sold.

Mine comes close. I actually have been keeping a speadsheet updated since 2004- 05 with my purchases/sales. If I end up with a profit, a negative gets posted. But nowadays, I'm always selling at a loss. Sometimes my wife sees that list and I cant talk about buying anything for the next week or so. :lol:

Yeah, but for example, a JVM410H head costs 400€ more in the US (if we take € as the currency to calculate with), here I pay double or more for a Mark V head. A RoadKing costs about 1800€ more, last time I checked. It would actually cost me less to buy one overseas - shipping, tax (20%) and customs (3% or more) included. Ridiculous.

But enough about that, I don't want to derail the thread. Mesa is taking more care of their home market, which any sensible company should.
