horizontal 2x12 question

I just sold my vertical 2x12 cab today. It sounds kinda harsh to me..
Did you guys compare the horizontal 2x12 and the vertical 2x12? any tone difference? Thanks!

the vert vs. horizontal mesa cab difference is really very slight.
If you didnt like the vert, you wont like the other.
