Getting a Mark III to sound like a Mark 1?

I'm having trouble getting a Santana like sound out of my Mark III. Does anyone have settings that gets their Mark III sounding like a Mark 1?

My best advice is to run the presence very low (no more than 2), run the volume 1 around 7-8 and the Treble high as well - 9-10. Then adjust Lead Drive to taste. Pull Deep may help as well.

Agree with Kiss - keeping the presence low is key to getting some of the harshness out.

What channel would I use? Right now I'm using the lead channel in class A with low gain.
