It's a bare bones IIC S/N 13096 and a Thiele. Both EVM loaded. Not collector pieces, but awesome tone. Will sell separately. Here's some pics. PM if you're interested.

Where's the pull for Master 1?

Looks like someone tried to forge a C+ with a marker.

Looks like a plain 60w IIB to me with no EQ or reverb either.

The plus sign is a possible forgery. That's why I didn't call it a C+.

The "Pull Deep" is blacked out because it's not a pull pot. This is a wierd amp. The serial number is NOT forged.

whats wierd is that the SN is squarely in the middle of the IIC+ run according to the info at Boogie Files.

Have you ever run the "effects loop test" ( http://homepage.mac.com/mesaboogie/IICPlus.html ) out of curiosity?

It most definitely passes the Effects Loop test.

There's no DRG on the chassis.

However, there's an 8-84 on the underside of the chassis in the same color ink as the "+" and "MB"

Here's a gut shot. Looks like it may have been a 2B that was modded back in the day.

The preamp board is an SP11A.

The pot may have been replaced wth a regular pot and and not a pull. The serial number, date, and effects loop test sure make it look like a C+

Yeah, thats kinda what it sounds like to me too. Maybe the original pull pot broke and was replaced with a normal one at some point. I don't claim to be a C+ expert though so who knows.

BoogieBabies could probably say for sure, or a call to Mike B at Mesa wouldn't hurt.

the red + on the back looks odd, did they ever put the + mark with red marker?

I have personally laid hands on a C+ Coliseum that had the "+"and "MB" in red ink. The date on the underside was in black ink, (7-84) . This 60 watt amp may not have anything other than the letter S and a week code on the side of the chassis.

D= simul-class
H= 100 watt
S= 60 watt
R= Reverb
G= Graphic EQ

If I remember correctly.
My vote is that it is an original C+, but I cannot explain the lack of a pull pot and blacked out faceplate on the Master 1 knob. :?

The serial number, tech date and circuit make it a C+ 60W, no reverb, no Simul and no EQ. Since it has no options, it might explain why there are no markings. Also, if you did not want the pull deep function on your order, or the owner did not want it after a pot repair is totally possible. It can still be added and I have seen stranger things.
