Found out what Mesa Russian 2 12AX7s are!

Hey guys!

Might be common knowledge by know, but thought I'd share my findings.

I pulled a Russian 2 12AX7 out of my Roadster yesterday, and was VERY surprised to find part of the EH yellow print on the tube (with the Mesa logo over it)....about a quarter of the inch of their printing was left on the left side.

So....if you like Mesa Russian 2 12AX7s, which I do, they are simply Electro-Harmonix 12AX7s.

Well, I had a feeling they were either the older Sovteks or newer Electroharmonixs. I like them EHs btw, but others seem to disagree. Oh well, my Roadster has those, bar V1, which I have replaced with a Mesa SPAX7 preamp valve...

I love E-H tubes. Good amount of gain and not noisy in the least.
