Fillmore 50

Recently acquired a pre-owned Fillmore 50 and wanted to reach out to the masses about it. I'm a long time Mesa guy since the late 90's. Every one I've had from the Maverick, Stilletto, Express plus, 5:35 have all been extremely loud amps. Should the Fillmore be on par with the rest of those amps as far as being powerful and loud? I played a Festival this past weekend and had a bandmate with a deluxe reverb next to me and I took quite a beating with just his guitar straight into the amp. Both channels just don't seem to have enough juice. This has never happened to me with my 5:35 or the 5:50 plus and have had plenty of headroom to compete with another player and drums. Anyone with a Fillmore 50 have these issues?

The Fillmore is not a loud amp IMO, especially compared to other 50 watts amp(more 40 watts I think), but I never lacked volume with my band.
Nowadays I also use a Fillmore 23 1x12 cab, because I love to play with 2+ speakers.

The Fillmores are overrated regarding power output. Maybe consider getting a 2x12 extension cab to get it running in 4 ohms, and to give you a bigger sound.
