MKI:The genisis is always best
MKIIC+estructive tone AND a Metellica amp? IT'SALLGOOD
MKIV:The Extreme channel kills the "Insane" Line 6 anyday
MKIIIon't know too much about it
MKV:It dosen't accomplish anything in my opinion. Is like a "Best Of" album,it has the familiar sounds, but doesn't push the legacy forward.

What is that 'extreme' channel? Is that the Lead channel? The Mark V has a "Mark IV's extreme". I dont know what that is. :|

OK, On the pressence knob on the lead channel, there is a push/pull mechonism. Pull that, and you'll get more gain, more tone and an overall tightening of the tone.
