Do the Rocket 44 and Subway Series Share the Same Preamps?

Hi everybody, hope you're all having a great weekend.

I love the Rocket 44 and it's voicings. Will I find the Subway Rocket series to have the same sound? It appears to me that the only difference between the two is the power sections - 2xEL84 in the Subways vs. 4xEL84 in the Rockets. Do these amps all share the same preamp?

Mesa gurus, what's the skinny?

I Had a rocket 44. Great amp!

AFAIK, Yes. There are two versions of the subway rocket I think.
The 44 is more like the latter one I believe.

I think the power sections are different (One is dyna-watt?) outside of the power difference.
