DC-5 Vs. MARK III

Well me again...
This time I am torn between DC-5 head and Mark III 60W (no simul class model, without switch). The price is 800 euro (DC5) and 1200 euro (M3). So I would like to know, would DC5 deliver that grit and tightness compared to Mark3. I know that DC5 has more options regarding tweaking as it has seperate controls for each channel but Hetfield used M3 on MOP!!! So the dilema is still here. I have never heard them live. Only sound clips on youtube. For the price of M3 I can get Dc5 and a cabinet.... So please help me... I'm pulling my hair here... I just want to finish this and buy tha **** thing.

It's always dicey with subjective terms like "tightness", but I'd say most forumites would agree the DC-5 is "tighter" than a Mark III.
Which one has the Graphic EQ?
If you play any modern-style music that requires that "scooped" midrange sound, opt for the Graphic.

Comparing my DC-3 and Mark III heads, I would agree that the DC has a tighter sound, the Mark III, a more open sound. YMMV.
