Mk iv pops when I turn it off

After going to standby, my mk iv pops when I power off. Anyone know what this means? Is trouble on the way?

I can get that with any of my amps. I found if I wait for at least 30 seconds or longer it is much quieter. Try that and see if it makes a difference.

Thanks! I will try that. I was hoping it wasn’t a clue that things were about to go south.

Anything is possible due to the age of the amp. Hopefully it is just the time between using the standby and then turning it off with the power switch.
