DC-5 Metallica clips

Hi

I posted some clips on you tube of various Metallica songs with my DC-5.

They were all recorded with a digital camera in one take so audio is not the best - but check em out if you want to hear what the amp sounds like at a low(ish) volume level.

The essence is there... wish you had a more full-range recording setup, as the camera mic really doesn't do justice (no pun intended).

You can tell the tone would sound great in the room. Has some good grind to it. Great riffing!

Like the riffing too, but like the explorer even more, what kind of is it? I never saw one with block inlays...

Its a gibson explorer pro, made for a few years around 2004 i think. Sounds pretty good

i i could not hear the drums over the guitar in places!

the clips are a combination of the c90 and the evm12l thiele, although the main sound has be the c90 as it was closest to the cam

i may post some riffs with the thiele only..

i don't remember the exact settings but it was on the rhythm channel with gain pulled at 10, mid at 10.

eq was pretty much a v, but with a little top end cut
