Dc-5 headshell for my my c+ ?

Hi

I have decided to get another boogie amp fo cleans only.

I have found a dc-5 top in mint condition, but and i want to convert my mark IIc+ rack mounted head in to a head shell again.

I would like to use the head shell from the dc-5 for my c+ And the dc-5 for my rack mounth kit

Could this be done fairly easy ?

Yes i know but cant see in the Dc-5 manule have wide it is.

But issent all mark or dc head shells the same size or am i missing somthing ? (not the wide chassi versions)

I'm abou 90% certain the DC-5 is the same as a widebody Mark. So a Standard/Compact/Rackmount Mark Chassis would be too short for a DC-5 headshell. A DC-3 Shell would work.

Did you look at the link i added in my first post ?

The dc-5 came in both wide chassi and short chassi versions, the one on in the link is the one im being offerd and its a short version as you can see in the pic.

Thanks for the excelnt info , il ask the seller.

I think my plan is excelent granted it will fit, then il have two amps one for cleans and c+ for crunch and the c+ gets a like new org boogie head shell.

Il get back with what the seller finds out, so i can find out if i still need one of your creations
