I've had my 5:50 2x12for two months now. Shortly after I brought it home I noticed a vibration that would occur when i played certain notes.
It was pretty tough to determine where the noise was coming from. The sound made it hard to concentrate on playing and it seemed to be getting worse over time. I talked to Mesa about it and they recommended checking the screws in the area where the sound was originating.
There is a long screw that is installed in the chassis that is designed for the purpose of eliminating this type of vibration. I adjusted it gradually (power off for safety) and the vibrating sound is no longer an issue.
