Buyin 2X12 for F 50 combo.

Hi all. Im planning on buy a 2x12 closed back cab soon to stop the tube rattle and to add bass and tighten the sound of my f 50 combo. My max budget is $350 and I'm pretty set on an avatar with v30's. Would these speakers compliment the amp well? Also will the 8 ohm cab work with my amp? Can I power the cab and the speaker in the combo at the same time?

For $350 I would try to find a used Recto Cab or a old school metal grille 212.

You should be able to plug your 8 ohm speaker in the combo into one 4 ohm jack, and the 8 ohm extension cab into the other 4 ohm jack, and everything will be fine.

So you plug an 8 ohm cab into a 4 ohm output? If you could exlain thatd be great. Would the mesa cab with v 30's sound much better then the avatar with v 30's?
