I realize this amp is more aimed at Blues and Classic Rock, but....
Other than swapping pots around, has anyone moddified their channel 2 for more gain?

One thing you can do is turn on the effects loop and peg the channel master.... it basically ends up using the tube effects buffer as another gain stage.

no. i guess if i wanted more gain than on tap i would have kept one of my other boogies - Mark III or .50 cal + - even then, i can gain up with a Keeley DS-1 to whatever I need ...

The other easy "mod" would be to put it through a HotPlate so you can get the power tubes involved in the distortion.

:D I am actually fairly happy with my LSS's distortion levels now. I use my Fat Boost in front of it if I want more gain.

I guess I just needed to experiment a little more with it. I will most likely do the Reeder thing and see if I like it.
