Any problems with amps when tuning your guitar to Eb?

If the Peavey Bravo is a solid state amp,you probably fried the input,many ss amps cant take a big input signal.It wouldnt happen with a tube amp,unless you blow the speaker and keep playing till the blown speaker damages the OT.
