Have any of you .50 cal owners out there experienced a momentary swell in volume when changing channels?

When I change from Clean to Lead, there is a huge volume swell that goes back down after about 1 second. When I change from Lead to Clean, it does not do it.

I'm wondering if I need to change LDR's or something.

I've got to dive into it anyway. There is a problem with the loop.

It worked fine until I plugged my G-Major in. Then the signal started cutting in and out. I'm hoping it's just a tube, but we will see this morning.

Thanks guys,
And....have you experienced any issues that I should keep an eye out for?

This thing has some serious sustain on the clean channel. I really like that. :D :D :D

mine does it too....
that mofo swells every time i change channel, no matter if it's from clean to dirt or viceversa...
everytime i use that footswitch volume goes up then down then up again...
it makes me dizzy and make me wanna use it as a single channel amp.
if you solve this problem please let me know hot to fix it.

btw what is an ldr?

I did fix it by changing the LDR's.
Light Dependant Resistor. Basically it is a switching mechanism that works off of an LED and a resistor that changes it's resistance based upon how much light is applied to it.

is a thing that i can fix myself? i'm not a noob with soldering iron.
have you got the replacement part number or a link where i can buy it? and some direction on where to find this ldr over the board?
thank you.
