4x12 Re-tolex Project - (This one in "Marshall" Purple)

Just got the grille back.
(It was sand-blasted and repainted. )

Did the re-tolexing last month.

Still not quite done:
I may replace the handles (only one has the Mesa insert)
and put in a rectangular jack plate on the back (don't have an original round one.)

But overall it's a pretty cool looking 4x12.
It's been done in "Purple Levant" tolex.

I saw one of the Hendrix's purple Marshall 4x12's from Electric Ladyland studios come up for sale recently! Too bad it didn't have the EXP moniker on it!

It really looked beat to **** beforehand.
It started out as a white tolexed cab then someone spray painted it black.
The grille looked like it had been painted numerous times using colors.

It seems really hard to capture the purple tolex color accurately.
The sun kind of washes it out and makes it look a florescent purple (like in the first pic).
It's actually a deeper purple than appears.
The last pic is closest to the actual color.
