I am considering rewiring the cab. Right now it is parallel / series with the two 4 ohm and single 8 ohm inputs. I am not keen on the 8 ohm jack since it has a rubber bumper to complete the series connection. Converting to series parallel and a single 8 ohm input ( removing the 4 ohm and output connections ) should do the trick. I have found inserts to fill the holes of the jacks that will not be used.
