Hello,
I bought a 2ch dual recto about 2 years ago on ebay. I can get a fantastic clean, however I cannot get rid of the buzz on the dirty channels. I've tried new tubes (JJ6l6 & EH12ax7), all kinds of settings, volumes , etc.. Even at extreme volumes it's still there.
I use EMG 81/60 also
I played a rectoverb combo before I bought it, and I don't remember any flaws in the tone.
Is this the nature of these heads, or is something wrong with mine?!
