WOULD YOU TAKE A TRIPLE REC

Yah I was thinking , a-b y box, but dont you have to have a load on a tube amp all the time or you'll screw it up? Also if I use a stereo cab, wouldnt I get feedback from the amp not in use while playing the other one?

What would be the best and safest way to be able to run 2 heads into one cab and be able to switch between them. 1 is a triple rec and the other one is a simul 2-90 power amp with a pod xtl.

I say just make sure the fx send level is adjusted properly( try 100% and then maybe 50%) and I prolly wouldnt run the pod at 100%, make sure the pod isnt clipping. Try to run the pod at around 50% and adjust the fx send level acordingly.

I have a pod and a tripple rec and really only like to run it into the front of my amp through the clean channel. I wanna get a midi amp switcher so I can change the amp channel with my pod as well , its the xt live model. I never really experamented with it going through to fx loop, just didnt...

I just got a triple rec 3 channel and kinda had the same problem and found out that if your fx loop is on( not bypassed) you have to turn up the fx send level to bring back your gain. Look on the back of your amp and bring up your fx send level to at least 50%, or just bypass the fx loop. Try...

Willing to trade triple rec for dual rec or stilleto. It just has to much power for me. Might even take single rec, or rectoverb but some cash would be needed to even up the trade.

Oh yea, Dale, I'm prolly gonna try this and see what happens but was I correct about taking out the tubes from the far left and far right possitions, or take out tubes that are next to each other? In my manual it says for the dual to take out the 2 center ones. Again thanks for your replys.

Cool. Thanks for your very informative posts Dale. I guess my best bet would be to sell it and get a single rec cause that is all the power anybody really needs. The 100 watt amps I've had before were never turned up past 40-50% no matter where I played at . One more question , Tube amps sound...

I did call mesa today and the dude told me that it was safe to take out the power tubes that are at the ends ( 2 of them) and one recto tube. He did say not to take out any more though.If I try this and it is bad, what is the worst thing that will happen to my amp. **** tripple rec just has way...

My owners manual says you can take out tubes to lower wattage for the dual rec, but doesnt say that you can for the triple. Is it possible to lower the triples wattage in this way? Thanx..
