2Heads into 1 cab

What would be the best and safest way to be able to run 2 heads into one cab and be able to switch between them. 1 is a triple rec and the other one is a simul 2-90 power amp with a pod xtl.
 
Well with a stereo cab, you could run them both at the same time - Assuming the ohms were matched.

Correct me if I am wrong, but the most common way to do this is to use an A/B box.
 
Yah I was thinking , a-b y box, but dont you have to have a load on a tube amp all the time or you'll screw it up? Also if I use a stereo cab, wouldnt I get feedback from the amp not in use while playing the other one?
