Stiletto Ace Combo 1x12 vs 2x12

Tried the Deuce as well but loved the Stiletto Ace which can get VERY loud. It looks and sounds like a 2X12 to me even though it's just 1X12...

    Stiletto 212 vs. Lonestar 212

The Stiletto Ace has excellent cleans and distortion settings. You will love it. I tried the LoneStar Special and it was a good amp as well but being an old Marshall man that loves high gain distortion I went with the Ace.

Roadster Effects Help - I'm looking into pedals

I bought the Carbon Copy Delay pedal and it's a very good delay unit for the price. It has a modulation button which adds that nice gooey layered delay effect but it's only a one trick pony because it's analog but it fills the bill for what I need ( I also have a Boss GT-8 which has digital...

    Lonestar Special Or Stiletto Ace

Tone is subjective and it changes over time. I was just thinking about this the other night. The tone that I loved when I was 16 wouldn't hold a candle to what I have now but that's because I didn't know any better. I was playing out of Peavey amp but because I hadn't heard better I thought it...

    My first mesa amp

Just bought a Stiletto Ace 50w combo and it has great cleans and a higher gain settings than the Express series plus you can get it to sound like a Marshall as well which is very helpful.

    Stiletto vs. ROV or T-Verb??

Seems like a lot of guys make it an issue about the Stiletto series not having a reverb but then I thought about it for a second and said I never use the stock reverbs that come with my amps anyways. I always use effects. I just got a Stiletto Ace and it's the best amp I've had in a long time. I...

    Considering getting a Stiletto

I've owned several Marshalls over the years so I think I have some input of value on this topic. I bought a Stiletto Ace just two weeks ago and I'm very impressed with the tone this little monster has. It gets both the Mesa and Marshall sounding distortion sound. Try the Tite Gain setting with...

    Lonestar Special Or Stiletto Ace

I tried both amps at a Guitar Center several times before settling with the Stiletto Ace but that's prob because I'm an old Marshall guy and the amp has EL34s in it which I love the sound of. They're both good amps. As far as what you're looking for and "tone" it's really a subjective thing. It...

    Recto "pop"

Every Mesa I've played through has that "popping" sound when you change the toggle switch setting. You'd think that Mesa Boogie would fix this by putting some type of buffer circuit in the loop so you couldn't hear the switch when you flipped it.

New to the Boogie Family. Any Advice??

Just got a Stiletto Ace and it sounds awesome. Cleans, crunch, and distortion are all great. Was really surprised at how nice the clean channel sounded. Mesas are defintely great amps. Guess I'm a member of the Mesa Boogie "snob" sorority too....lol
