This sounds like a great idea, if it really works. So it should be able to add gain to both channels and using a footswitch or switching system to turn the cuircut on/off. I might call mesa this week and see if this will work.

I run my multivalve and intellifex the same way you do in series, I didn't care much for the tone with it in the loop. As far as why, I think it depends on what sounds good to you.
