Yeah that's true...i think if it had midi and had the ability to engage the fx loop from the pedal that would be way cooler. but I get by regardless so no biggy.

Yeah my cable went out too! Maybe they should use a little quality control and invest in better ones. Also why do they use a stereo cable and not a standard midi cable like all of their other amps? Just curious.....

that's what i've always done, just wanted to make sure it was still true on the stiletto. I've got the cleans at about 1:00 and the gain at about 7-8:00. You know how it is though, you start thinking something is wrong then everything seems like it's wrong lol.

Thanks man, I think it might be a combo of problems. The switching was definitely a faulty stereo cable. But I think the clean channels pre-amp tube might be dying too. Does the clean channel always have to be turned up considerably louder then the gain channel? Thanks!

I have an ace head and i'm having some issues with the switching. When on clean sometimes the volume will just drop out but it doesn't dissapear it just fizzles out. The only way to cure this is to switch channels and come back to the clean then it's back to full volume. It eventually starts to...

why did you order mesa tubes, they have them in guitar center...where you could take them back if they didn't work.

Dual or Triple rectifire and the Road King would have those tones.

At all the atlanta stores if someone returns a mesa amp within 30 days it is still considered and will be sold new wether it has all the stuff that came with it or not. I found that thread about that, and I've been doing that now, no problems here. Thanks for the help. I hooked up an yngwie dod pedal to boost the front end of the amp with the gain down and the level all the way up. Makes those notes cut through a whole lot easier. This amp is amazing!!!

I got the 4x12 Recto-STANDARD SLANT(Straight Front) and the Triple Rec. Sounds awesome so far, does anybody have any advice on these amps? Also I'm getting a clicking and popping when I switch to channel 2. Thanks Corey
