Roadster Channel Switching and G System - Help!!!

Hey Joe There are two ways to switch the channels on your Roadster using the G System. The way I do it is using midi and an Axess Electronics CFX4 http://www.axess-electronics.com/sc/CFX4-Control-Function-Switcher-p-16136.html ( a separate midi switching box). When I first purchased the...

Any suggestions on high quality wireless systems?

I have the XDS Plus by X2 ( Line 6 ) I have played many shows with it and have never had a drop out or problem. When I first bought the unit I spent the better part of a day "anally" A/Bing it with a cable and it does not sound exactly like a cable but the difference is so slight that I...

    BB or Fulltone ???

I have the BB Preamp and the OCD v4 in my rig. If I could only have one it would be the BB but I use both for different things. The BB is VERY transparent when set with the gain at about 9:30. Makes a great boost for clean and gain channels. I use the OCD with more gain to get AC/DC - like...

    Who here uses the G-System????

The G System works very well if you have an amp with a GOOD serial loop. I have had mine for nearly a year now and I doubt I could ever do without it now. The effects are top notch (especially delays and reverbs ) and the ability to use analog distortion/overdrive pedals is great. I use a...

    Who here uses the G-System????

No. The loops are infront of the preamp (as well as the compressor block and Filter effect block) with the four cable method or everything is after the preamp if you run the G system in the loop only ( 2 cable method ) You cannot assign the position of the effects in the loop.

    boost for roadster?

I really like my Xotic BB Preamp for this. Very transparent if you want it to be. Just makes everything good about the sound stand out more in the mix.

Just wanted to share the joy

I've had my G System for about 8 months now and I am still smiling about it. I love being able to control the effect parameters with the expression pedal. The G System seems to really like my Roadster as it is dead quiet and completely transparent using the 4 cable method. With 4 different...

Roadster 2 X 12 Combo Help with Loose Screw

Could someone with a Roadster 2 X 12 Combo have a look at these photos and let me know if this screw is supposed to be backed out like this ( ie is that how it is on yours). It has been like this since new. I tried to turn it with fingers and seems tight? It is located where the red circle...

    played a roadster tonight!!

Effects loop is definietly Series. My Roadster sounds great with G system using 4 cable method ( never tried G major ) If you didn't get to try the clean (green ) channel on Tweed you missed out on one of the truly outstanding features of the Roadster so if you are already impressed this will...

    G-System Help

Are you trying to switch the amp channels with the G system? If so you need another device such as a CFX4 by Axess electronics or and Amp Gizmo byRJM. The problem is that the Roadster requires isolated grounds so you can't use a Y cable. You can switch between two channels with the G but not...

Need some advice (Roadster / Stilleto Ace / Lonestar)

I origianlly bought the Lonestar 2 X 12 Classic combo. Loved the clean channel and overall a great amp but could not cover the heavier stuff. I play in a cover band and we are all over the map style wise. I ended up taking the Lonestar back and getting the Roadster. I will take some heat for...

Have not tried the 3 channel DR but I sure love my Roadster ( until I have to carry it up the basement stairs! ) I play in a cover band that plays the entire gammet of styles and the Roadster has everything there. Clean sounds are spectacular but will rock hard when needed. Good luck with...

    G-System Help!

I have the G system with the Roadster and it works perfectly. You probably already know this but the insert loop is set to "off" in all presents so you need to enable it in a patch and then go into the global settings and set the insert lock on. Also the boost function is actually an...

Hello all. I am a new Boogie user...just picked up a new Roadster two weeks ago. Thanks for your help in advance. I have a question about the Reverb function on my new Roadster. In channel one set to Tweed and channel two set to Brit the reverb is barely detectable even when cranked up all...
