LSC!!! i have the early version myself ( 50/100 ).

i love my 10 band mxr in the loop of my LSC but it just took a dump. i thought it was my fx loop but its the mxr. popping scratchy noisy. tried spraying contact cleaner but didnt work. oh well, at least its not my LSC!

im using a mesa reverb pedal. i had to order it through my dealer but you dont have to use the mesa pedal. i think boss makes an on/off latching type. i got the mesa pedal just to keep everything " mesa". i agree it should have been with the channel switch pedal.

+1 on the eq in the loop. i use an mxr 10 band and leave it on all the time. infinate tweeking on the fly. channel 2 is a monster!!!

thanx to all. looks like the fx loop. bypassed it and all is quiet. acually, i sprayed the jacks with contact cleaner and it worked but it looks like my mxr eq has a problem as the noise is back when i activate it. thanx for pointing me in the right direction

greetings. my lsc is humming, sputtering, crackeling in all modes. tried power tubes, still there. tried preamp tubes two at a time, still there. mesa manual says might be " the small tube that drives the power tubes". is this the 5U4 tube or could it be somthing else? thanx

the noise is there when the guitar is unplugged too. ive had it on for half an hour or so now and it seems to have cleared up, hence the intermittent part

greetings. i have a LSC and i am getting sputtering and crackeling but it is not loud, kinda off in the distance sounding? not real noticable and intermittent. pre-amp tube or tubes bad or going bad? if this is the problem, how long before it gives out? thanx

not real sure but he said that one of the leads were crushed somehow. he played the amp part through another cab and everything was ok and mesa would send a new part. mesa called me then called the dealer THEN called me back so no lacking in customer service! will make sure everything is ok...
