Talked to a Mesa tech...Despite they kicked out the Hardbypass-switch and solved the 10W oscillation problem, there are no other tweaks or changes to the Mini in it's Rev. B.

But there is also an overhauled Mini Rec with that mod and without the hard bypass switch on the back for the FX Loop. Just got a new Mini in exchange for my old one!

Just got informed by my Mesa tech...The revision B regarding that problem is out now! All new Minis will have that problem fixed!

Here is the fix that Mesa have come up with for the Mini Recto when the amp sees voltage that is too low. 1) Change R8, the mute timing resistor from a 1M5 to a 560K 2) Change C47, the mute timing cap from a .082 to a .22-- note that the positive end of the cap points toward the rear of the...

Well, two things that still make me think not to swap headshells 1) Yeah my amp works perfectly..Although I had to have it fixed a couple of months ago because the clean channel master pot died.. Now the amp is no more under warranty, the new one would bring me another 3 years of warranty. 2)...

Oh what a wonderful life you guys have in the US when it comes to Mesa... Well buying a headshell with black diamond plate would cost me around $700-800 here in Europe... So that's not an option for me...

All 3 minis I played did that hum on the 10w setting so I thought it would be normal..But now that some say their Mini does not hum I am curious how to get rid of it:-) The hum also occurs with the guitar unplugged, nothing connected, fx loop bypassed.
