Here's my trusty thiele. The tolex is pretty rough but the speaker cloth is perfect. There a major ding but it does not affect the sound. I think the cab is an eighties thiele because of the metal corners and the jack on the back is just the little cup, not the jack plate. Speaker works...

Personally I feel that there is much more gain on the IIc+. Also the IIc was very trebly. I think it was because of some bad tubes but anyways, it also depends on the transformer. I have a IIC modded to IIc+ and it has monstrous gain now. I have single coils and I run my gain around 6. I don't...

How do you mic your cab? I used to have 4x12 and mic'ed it at an angle towards the cone. I tried it with the Thiele and it doesn't sound that good. And do you mic on the port side? or on the other side? Any techniques to get it sounding as huge as it does in person? thanks -Ryan
