Having been researching cabs I discovered that the Roadster 1x12s are ported on the back while the 2x12s aren't..... Having said that, whats the purpose of the port on the back of the 1x12 and why doesn't the 2x12 have it also?

I read somewhere that the tone of an amp is best when the effects loop is engaged. Having said that can anyone verify this? Also, If this is indeed true what about the effects loop being active makes for the better tone? Input appreciated......

What reverb unit are you guys using with your regular rectifiers? I'd like to get a decent reverb pedal to give my cleans a bit of depth but am not sure what to go with. Having said that, theres a few that catch my eye because of options (TC Electronic Hall of Fame Reverb and Line 6 Verbzilla)...

For some reason I have always thought that the Lone Star Classic and Lone Star Special were Mesas take on Fender and VOX. Having said that, is that accurate or are they their own thing?

Well I just got done working on my Roadster's settings. It's definately been a tough amp to dial in but is rewarding when you find the tone you have been searching for. Having said that, it is a shame that alot of people seem to have given up on the Roadster as there is alot of potential for it...

While I love my Roadster I have to say that I miss the "Pushed" Mode of the regular rectifier line. Having said that, does anyone know if "Pushed" mode can be achieved with the Roadster? If so, does anyone know where to start as far as settings? :mrgreen:

Do you guys actually utilize all 4 channels or do you find yourself using one clean and one high gain? Personally, 4 channels is much more than I know what to do with...... :lol:

As most of you know as you turn up your rectifiers background noise is more apparent. Is a noisegate unit what I need to get rid of the noise I speak of? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks....

I have tweaked brit mode numerous times but it sounds like **** no matter how I dial it in. It sounds like a poor attempt at the solo heads pushed mode. Do you need to be using EL34 tubes to make brit mode usable? Anyone care to share their settings?.... :)

I have a Roadster (bought used recently) thats output nob doesn't seem to be working. I have my channel volume set and while playing turn I turn the output volume and the volume doesnt increase or decrease. Any ideas? I still have 3 1/2 years on the warranty but am curious to what it might be.
