"lailer75"... I spoke to a tech at Mesa and he told me not to put a colder tube in there. I'm pretty sure (not positive) that same tube is still used in the gain structure of the amp. Changing that tube may do more harm than good. Someone would have to look at a schematic.

****... A 4X12 cab, especially a Mesa loaded with EV 12L's would take 2 guys to carry somewhere. I had a 2X12 combo with 12L's and it was about 90+ lbs. IIRC.
