boogie tubes, I want to retube it though, I bought it used and it came with the 6's and a set of 34's it has all boogie pre tubes too. I will bet some of the tube combos at dougs or eurotubes will really sweeten it up. but yeah the 6's that came with it where well worn so I popped in the 34's...

hey I have 34's in mine too, tweed setting is sweet as honey.......I have a head pushing a recto vert 2x12 and that thing just roars or purrs what ever you ask of it. LSC friggin rules.

added el34's, eq in the effects loop and put a 2x12 recto cab under it with v30's...............yeah, it rocks!!

just get a 1/4 coupling and ad a longer cable to the speakers, that way you can listen to each head through each cab with out any tools or disassembly. I am sure you can get the adapter at radio shack.

those cabs tip cows man!! they rock!! I am sure they will work well with what ever you have. speaker has a lot to do with the tone also I dont have a clue about a zak wild speaker.

there is some foil in the cab above the open part of the chassis. then there is some foam rubber stripping where the chassis makes contact to the cabinet also.

mesa sells a wide body 1x12 that is closed back and will fit the large head. I bought a vertical mesa 2x12 with V30's in it and it sounds great with my LSC head. good luck buying the head cabinet, its expensive, I got lucky when I bought my LSC 1x12 used, the guy also had a head cab for it.

yeah I am just picking. I was dissapointed when I found out the rectoverb didnt have a tube rectifier. it might have the sound but not the feel.

I only metion this because marshall, peavey, crate, traynor........anyone could start calling those amps recto's.

why is it called a RECTOverb if it doesnt have a tube Rectofier??? as far as I can tell the Rectoverbs use the solid state rectofiers that all modern amp makers use...........so then is it just a "Verb" with no Recto?
