    LSC 4X10

I'm interested in one of these and can't find much input. Does this amp have the Super Reverb type fullness of sound? It seems that there's more interest in the LSS in the 4X10.

    Warming up a Mark I?

I have a RI MkI and want to use it more like a Fender clean amp. Any tips for "warming up " the sound, adding more bass? I'm thinking equalizer, speaker changeout....

Just got my Mark I RI...Questions?

5! The crew of the space shuttle could hear mine on 5!

Do you use the efects /solo in or on hard bypass ?stilett

I have a RK II, but I think the question still applies. When you guys use your loop and set the output to 12, do you get a hum at lower settings (quieter environments) of the master, say about 9? I quit using the loop because I like the clean I get just using the master knobs, loop off, no...

    NOS Mark I Reissue

I just adopted one this last week and am blown away! I haven't had the chance to use it with the band yet, just home, so my question is this...would a EVL speaker give more headroom, more bottom? I can see how it would be possible to blow this speaker, anybody blown the C90?

Traded my Express for a Mark I Reissue

Yep, c90, the EVL would make it much heavier from what I'm understanding. I'm missing the 5 watt option, that is, my wife's missing the 5 watt option, this mofo is loud! I think It's going to stay, but I haven't had a chance to use it with real live people. The Express is an awesome amp...

Traded my Express for a Mark I Reissue

Thanks. I really liked the Express but couldn't pass this vintage type amp up (being somewhat vintage myself). It does seem to dislike the bottom end, doesn't it. I'm looking at 6 and half , 4 bass, 4 mid and 4 presence right now.

Traded my Express for a Mark I Reissue

I went in today to my shop, these guys are so unorganized sometimes I find something I've never seen before. In the corner was wood cab, Mark I. Since it had been there for awhile the wood was somewhat scuffed, I really liked the size and power, so I traded my 5:50 back and took it home. I'm...

What's happening to my Road King?

My road king combo does the same thing on spongy. I just noticed it this weekend. Volume's fine on first two channels, goes almost to nothing on 3 and 4 when spongy's engaged. Startled me the first time I noticed it.

Recto 2x12 cab with RK combo?????

I've got the combo as well and am thinking about getting a cab. Gimme your impression of what that cab adds. Edit- I think you also have to unplug the "dummy plug" in hooking them up(sorry if that's self evident).

    Road King Head or Combo?

I've posted this before, the combo sounds more midrange than the cab/head. My nephew and I ordered one of each and when they came in we played them side by side. They didn't sound the same, might just be my combo...I dunno.

Express 5:50 best sounding Boogie I ever played

The 5:50 probably saved my marriage. I have a RKII, but I can't get the sounds out of it at low volume and it weighs about as much as a car. I bought the 5:50 for portability and the 5 watt setting. It's a great amp for home practice and it's still got enough umph for playing with a drummer.

    2 6l6 and 2 el34 in same time

It does sound good, I do it all the time.....on my RK. :D

Amp stand for LSC - Good idea or not?

I don't gig that much, but I have gigged with a LSS on a stand. The one I got from GC doesn't come close to 45 degrees angling, or maybe it's because I don't use that angle (there are two angles). It seems to me to give a much better representation to your ears of what the mic is hearing.

    Express 5:50 problems

This may be true, I've only owned one Marshall, but I don't perceive any intentional increased shortcuts to save money on Mesas. These amps have so many features, so many parts to be bought from other companies and I don't think Mesa is a big user of automated assembly, I'm not surprised tubes...

Comparing Cleans-Express 5:50 vs Twin Reverb

 ...and I had one until last year. I think the footswitch (says made in mexico) and the flimsy piece of wood across the back confused me.

    Express 5:50 problems

hmmm....three months or so here, almost daily one hour's worth of use, no problems here.

Comparing Cleans-Express 5:50 vs Twin Reverb

Now I'm confused, are you talking about the 57 or the 65? I was referring to the 65, it's the one I owned.

Comparing Cleans-Express 5:50 vs Twin Reverb

I'll assure you the Mesa's build is studier than a Mexican made Twin, don't think the Mesa is a light amp either.
