im in aus and there starting to get around in a lot of shops here. i agree blues pro is great. the boost'n'buff is my favourite, its got to be the most transparent one ive ever heard. ill also agree that theres huge gain in the crunchbox and especially the tube zone. value for money 10/10.

try the mxr dist+ very transparent high gain pedal which works brilliant with a little amp od.

we had a ampfest last year, a guy there had the hurricane and the hellcat. pretty awsome range of sounds glassy cleans to a really over the top overdrive. price range is "boutique" to say the least. zakk wylde and ritchie kotzen are some of the better known users.

im running two (2x12) cabinets so it really fills out. i dont think a single speaker does them justice.

what a coinsidence ive ordered a 212 cabinet with weber silver bells for my ace head. they came at the reccomendation of the cabinet builder himself after i enquired about celestions. he couldn't say enough about them.

i bought the ace head after demoing it on my strat with kinman traditionals. the stilettos take the single coils so well. still maintains alot of gain and doesnt lose any character. ive never experienced alot of breakup, id say the volume would need to be right up. 50watts isn't 3 times less...

If you want the distortion from the stomp box to be the main driver I would assume the channel gain would be pretty low? spot on there.youve really got to let the distortion + do most of the work. i set it almost on full with just a bit of gain on the amps clean channel. you can dial the amps...

ive just built a mxr distortion+ clone using the byoc kits. its sounding wicked in front of the clean channel of my stiletto. id reccomend this one for some ozzy stuff. its alot different to other distortions and ods ive used. theres nothing subtle about it. just a pure well balanced distortion
