    2.90

I beleave that no switch cables can melt down in that way...unless they're the same as Christmas lights series cables  and the most important thing.... can a 2:90 melt switching cables still running powered on? No fuse/tube blow.... no ac plug melted in the wall.. with all respect...

    2.90

Definitely, for connect a power amplifier to a cabinet you must have a speaker cable. (the cab must have the same ohms value for the power amplifier. Cab must always have the same or higher ohms.. NOT MINOR) Shielded cable (made for an instrument signals) must be used for connect all your rig...

    Triaxis Modeling

Not only in ld 2 yellow. All 8 modes could be clear or not. A rhy green or yellow with the gain crancked up became slightly distorted. Best for bluesy tone IMO. All the leads are sensitive to gain and ld drive parameters....so, you can use a lead mode with low gain/drive and with an expr pedal...

    Good EQ for triaxis

Any idea or suggestion about Eq? I would to put one in the tri fx loop for some distortion sound reshaping. What do you think about dbx or bbe? Can i use a stompbox eq for that or a single rack unit is the best choice?

Ultimate question about John Petrucci's equipment

Hi ytse_jam, wikipedia.org not says all things right. Wikipedia is a online resource and all the pages are a "summa" of information from peoples all around the world. Maybe what you had read is an article wrote by a common user. The cool thing is "make your search and if what you've found don't...

Display digits flickering upon startup of TriAxis! Help!

Hi, if the display flicker every time you switch on the tri and the sound signal remains fluid and don't follow the flicks, maybe a bad soldering connection. If the flicks affect the sound, you can find he trouble in the power input stage. I'd a similar problem last mounth with the 8 mode...

Triaxis Question - Can anyone Help?

It sounds like a bad g-major preset routing. Try using the same routing and the same effects in your song presets. At least in each one. 8) The Compressor block generate this volume change. Tweak it a little for a perfect combination.  Anto

    20/20 speaker loads

Hi tramp, The best way to run your cabinet is matching the proper load ohm between the power amplifier and the cab. Sometimes you need to connect an amplifier to a non matched ohm cab. In this case, the cab ohm must be bigger than the power amplifier outputs. yes, you can connect 20/20 stere...

    2:90 tube question

Thanks all for the tips. I've send my rig to a specialized mesa tech for a triaxis mode led repairing and also for a 3 or 4 blowing fuse in the last 2 mounths in the 2:90. Nothing so terrible or complicated. He told me that my rig is in perfect conditions and nothing works wrong. Fuse had blows...

    Triaxis/G Force combo

Hi, G-force is very simple to program and easy to use, with a clear big display, with solid construction material. With g-force you can explore new sound (more shi-fi sound) and recreating some cool delay effects like Balleria 12/24 but it isn't a real harmonizer. The wah is a post effect...
