    They in stores yet?

My GC is the same way. Mark IVs and RKs come in as used gear. However my GC had the Stiletto Tridents and Deuces a while back and then cut the price in half because the Series II were going to come out. So I just imagined that the new Stilettos would come in. I only really want to try the...

    Should I buy it?

Hey guys, My local Guitar Center just got a used Mark III black stripe in and it's in good condition and works. My current home setup is a 1984 Mesa Mark IIC+ combo, Marshall TSL100 head, Fender HRDx. I bring the Marshall head to gigs and use my F-50 at band practice which stays at my...

    WTT: Marshall head

Hey guys, Want to try out some Marshall tone? I have my 2 Mesas and I bought the Marshall JCM 2000 TSL 100 head to get a Marshall sound, but it doesn't really fit me. Offer me an amp head for this mint TSL100 with everything included. Doesn't have to be a Mesa either. Thanks guys, -Alan

My Second Mesa---- Insanely good deal!

Yeah, I heard you can put el34s in the outer and 6l6 in the inner, or all 6l6. Should I stay with all 6L6 power tubes? Edit: I just checked Eurotubes. I saw they have a full retube for Simul-Class reverb 100 watt for the Mark III with same type/amount of tubes for my Mark IIC+. Is it okay to...

My Second Mesa---- Insanely good deal!

Hey guys, I was at Sam Ash the other day and I couldn't believe it! A Mesa Boogie Mark IIC+ fully loaded amp. It's got the hardwood, wicker cane grill, Simul-Class, EQ, reverb, the works. And best of all, the TONE! I loved it so much, and I went back the next day to pick it up.!t has a road...

    Good deal?

I'll check the serial number and do an effects loop test. But if it is a fake, what else could it be? It's definitely Mark II? If it was a fake the only thing it could be is a Mark II C right?

    Good deal?

I've been researhcing for like 3 hours and I have realized I must get it. I am going to call them/go there tomorrow as soon as they open and see if they can hold it. I saw this and this is $2800 for the exact amp...

    Good deal?

Hey guys. There is a used amp that just came in at my local guitar store labeled 'Mesa Boogie Mark II" and I'm pretty sure it's a Mark II C+ because I checked over the power cord and it had the permanent marker "+" sign and below it there was a small signature that looked like "wb" initials...

Tubes & Settings to get a Marshall Sound out of a MKIV

To be pretty honest, no offense to Mesa orthe Mark IV, Mesa is Mesa, and Marshall is Marshall. You can get similar gain areas with them but they are very different. That's why I own both. You can't really get one to sound like the other. Some people may disagree.

    We have been betrayed !!!!

I own one of each currently. I don't plan on getting another Marshall, but I do plan on another Mesa. I like to spread the love around, naw mean? I also lan on getting other amps too, maybe Engl, Bogner, Framus, Laney, Mojave, etc. I'm also a member of the Marshall forum. I won't even tell...

    Mark IIIC+ owners

Wait a sec., it matters a lot who you go to? And they don't charge standard prices?

What is retail Pricing (Guitar Center, etc) for Mark IV's

Pretty expensive, maybe like $1900. You'd get them a lot cheaper used. I'm from Long Island too, which guitar stores do you go to?

    Show me yer hardwood!!!

You wouldn't happen to be selling any of them, would you?
