I think that this is a good reference sound, in order to finalize your tone. Perhaps, I would also try to use just the Roadster with different eq left and right. You could also try to mix the mics in a mono channel, trying to achieve the tone you have in your mind. take care

I agree 100% with Nitro. Even though it seems to fix the lag, there is absolutely no excuse for Mesa letting this problem occur in the Roadster. Maybe, Mesa released the amp before thoroughly checking its quality. I would still expect an official answer from Mesa in order to clarify this...

c.t.d-nicke what's you amp's serial number? Mine is VR-00143. Regarding the Roadster service advisory, it was repaired in the factory and before it was imported to Greece where I bought it. I'm asking this because I wonder if this has to do somehow with the advisory as it is an early Roadster...

Tone Factor Cream Pie deluxe. It rules both in the clean and high gain channels. Use it as a boost with the tweed mode in order to get a great bluesy tone, as well as with channels 3 and for better sustain in leads and for tightening up the riffing. Take care, Fotis

I own a Roadster since May 2007. Great amp, sounds killer for a variety of sounds. I have had a few tube issues and just once the known problem of volume swells with the loop engaged and no cables in the send/return jacks. Never happened again, though. A great amp overall! Just play it loud!
