I agree! I love my Mark IV! Best amp I've ever owned. I find it alot easier to dial in than my RKII. Personally I like the cleans alot better on my Mark. Just like any amp though, I think it highly depends on what guitar you are plugging into it. I didn't care for my PRS Custom 22 plugged...

Any amp will pick up radio stations periodically. I've had it happen many times. As far as what amp to get, only you can answer that one I guess. If it's not cutting it for you, try some different amps. Maybe you'd be happier with an el34 based amp.

Hey Eric, I use an ART 31 band EQ in the loop of my RK. The amount of tones I can pull out of that thing seem endless! Tightens it up alot too and remains extremely quiet. It is fun to play with. The 31 band single channel is extremely affordable too. $140 or so, can't remember exactly...

Maybe you've done this already, but sometimes I find a more useable clean tone by backing off the guitar volume a little. I never use to touch the guitar volume at all, but I've learned alot of things in the last few years that have helped me considerably.

My custom Mark IV is new also, and they put the Mesa/Boogie logo on it. I didn't specify what I wanted on the head, but I did specify I wanted the Mesa/Boogie logo on my Stiletto cab, instead of the Mesa Engineering logo. I suppose they did it to match.

I love my RKII, glad I got it. But if I'm not mistaken, and you Roadster owners can chime in, I think you can run 4 EL34's in the Roadster whereas the RK has just 2 plus the 4 6L6's. So I guess if you are more of an EL34 guy, it is something to think about. Still voiced like a recto on...

I would guess it would have the diode/tube rectifer switch, unlike the other Marks. That would be cool. Probably a preamp voicing switch like the rectos too.
