Single Rect o Verb combo Series I VS II

It also does this by introducing the infamous channel switching "pop" having owned both... Personally, the slight lag of channel switching is better than the obnoxious pop. Although, at that price, I think both is unacceptible. So I don't owne either anymore. :)

    i god **** hate!!!!!!!!!!

Bingo! I got a 2007 model and "discovered" this feature while trying to get to the preamps. My hand hit into the faceplate from inside and it popped off. At first, I was like THAT THE? Then I was psyched. :)

    Slant vs Straight cabs

I owned and AB'd both side by side in my home. The stiletto slant sounds IMO far better than the oversized recto. Subjective opinion of course, but what is not opinion is that there is a clear audible difference betweent he two - it is not just hype - they sound completely different.

    Dating a Trem-O-Verb

Mine is in the R-017xxx range and is from May of 2001 if that helps.

    price increase rough idea

BINGO!!! I love Boogie amps, always have. BUT!!! Look at my sig. The only amp I own that is "current" is a Mark IV. I have not been impressed with anything they have come out with in a long time. I think they are cutting corners. If you look at the DC-5 for instance, it had a GR EQ...

    WHY?

Why not? Sorry. Couldn't resist.

    Single Recto VS Dual Recto

Well, that depends if you can tell the difference between 75 million dollars and 77 million if you know what I mean. The TOV will destroy modern metal tone - it IS a dual rectifier. On the lead channel, it has two modes, Blues and Modern High Gain. Blues is exactly what it says. Sounds...

    best clean channel?

This man speaks wisdom. The TOV is an awesome amp! It is very flexible with the ability to 6L6 or EL34 power it, but also incorporates channel cloning which enables you to basically foot swtich between any of the 4 modes the amp has. It can get that low end BALLS recto sound but it's secret...

Price Check on a Tremoverb Head

Man, I just scored one on a rare find private sale. It was truly a story of a collector having one not played sitting is his studio among 3 trillion other unplayed amps. This thing is completely spotless, came with all 4 channel switches, 4 cables, the original hang tags and paperwork, slip...

    Single Recto VS Dual Recto

the Mark IV sounds great at lower volumes. Actually (puts flame suit on) I think all of my Mesa amps sound great at BR volume if I take the time to dial them in. I DON'T believe that a good Mesa only sounds great when cranked. If you want to get a fantastic DR, hunt down a DR Tremoverb - IMO...

Does anybody here actually use the Oversized Standard cab?

Stiletto for me all the way. I AB'd them side by side in my home and the Stiletto cab blew the oversized one out of the water. Just sounded better all around and had GOBS of low end, or not depending on if you dialed it out. The oversized was more bassy by nature and took more tweaking to...

    Buying Mark IV parts ?

Your dealer is a retard. The Mark IV is a current production amp and parts can be had abundantly. Not to fret - if it makes you feel any better, I had a dickweed at Guitar Center tell me that the Mark IV was a limited production run amp that if he could even get one from Boogie any longer, it...

    FOR SALE: Mark IV SOLD!!!

DAM YOU! Where were you in December when I paid more for my Mark IV short head??? Life is all about timing. Great price and good luck bump.

    Standard vs Tradition 4x12

I had the fortunate opportunity to have both AB'd side by side with My Mark IV head, DC-5 head and my Tremoverb Head some time back. Let me just say that IMO the Traditional Stiletto cab BLEW the oversized recto out of the water in every way shape and form. It was tighter, more articulate and...

    SOLD

Title says it all. Mint conditon, 100% fully functional and ready to be yours. The only thing worthy of mention is that the slip cover is not the usual nylon canvas one that comes with them. I upgraded it to the Mesa Padded one to take extra care of it. I am looking for $725 Shipped to the...

Widebody Mark IV Combo Cab for sale, with Fan & Cover!!

I don't get it. How did you wind up with this then? Did you have an extra or sell just a chassis from one? :? Also, what are you playing through now? I am curious because you sold two of the amps I currently own and love. I am wondering what drew you away from them...

Widebody Mark IV Combo Cab for sale, with Fan & Cover!!

Went the way fo the head conversion did ya? I thought about doing it that way but found it easier to just buy a Mark IV head and sell my combo outright. good luck bump.

Anyone know if a Tremoverb 2x12 Combo...

...can be converted into a head? I think not based on the opposite layout of everything from the head, but maybe it can?

WTB - Tremoverb Head - GOT ONE
