Well I have an odd story about hum with the mini rec. I had it about 2 months and it developed a "60"cycle type hum on both channels. Wasn't the tubes I swapped all of them and it was still there. Sent it in to Mesa to have them check it out. They called me the next week and said they couldn't...
Mine has issues with my pedal board in certain venues. Don't know why it does it on some and not the others but I took a ground lift and plugged into my pedal board power supply and it solved my problem
sent it last night, but i checked it with different cables. swapped tubes again just to make sure., when i swapped the v2 the tone of the hiss and crackle changed but it was still there. makes me think its something internal.
how is the noise on your guys mini recto. i just noticed on channel two i have a background hiss. didn't really notice it a first wich makes me wonder if something is going on, it's like it just started. swapped all the tubes including power tubes and its still there. its not too loud, i mean...
maybe user error? i don't hear anything like that at all. is it possible u were pushing the amp and hearing the el84's breaking up and u don't like that sound?
v1 v3 v4, actually i do have a tung-sol in v2 but i use tight gain. can't rember excatley how it works but i think it only uses half of the tube running it this way, when u use fluid drive v2 is actually the first stage. v5 and v6 are jj to take a little high end off. in case u didn't know this...
yeah i've got one but its not the one that switched the channel on the amp. basically just a separte loop for each pedal when im not using a pedal its bypassed, so its guitar cable amp
there's a schematic flaoting around here, i asked for it and someone gave it to me. i think the thread is still here. now it doesn't totally change the tone of channel two. its still the same basic tone. it adds a little bass, still not much an eq in the loop fixes this though. it also turns the...
