Oh , and Neil Young , David Bromberg , Jorma Kaukanen , Leslie West , Frank Zappa , Lee Ritnauer .... Duane Allman , Joe Walsh , Hobby Jones ..

One I did not see...Stanley Jordan. His version of Elenor Rigby made me cry.

I don't remember seeing Kim Thayil, Tim Sult, Pat Travers, Billy Gibbons, Ted Nugent so I'll throw those in...

My biggest influences
Randy Rhoads
Tom Morello
Adam Jones
Jerry Cantrell
Jimmy Page

After seeing some private videos of Guthrie Govan, I'll say that he is the man right now. He can play ANYTHING! and, he does it with feel. And, to top it off, he is humble.....

Favourites would have to be James Root from Slipknot / Stone sour - I haven't heard anyone use effects as well or layer harmonies like he does, especially in metal, and Muhammed Suicmez from Necrophagist, shred guitar done properly!
Also a big fan of Mick Thomson from Slipknot (definitely knows his tone), and Stevie Ray Vaughan, again for tone and also for his technical ability.

Hendrix (more rhythm than lead)
Woody Weatherman
Pepper Keenan
Frank Zappa
Tony Iommi
Jimmy Page (after IV)
Eddie Hazel
Jeff Beck
Warren Haynes
Tom Morello
Tim Roth

My favs, in no particular order:

Brad Paisley
Pete Anderson
Ritchie Kotzen
Steve Morse
