well im not really a huge fan of them but in current rock music Synyster Gates and Zacky Vengeance from Avenged Sevenfold are the best guitarists to probably ever hit the TRL countdown.

I've been listening to and playing more bass recently, and my faves in that realm are LaRue, Sheehan, and Levin.

Not for long. He was doing one of those guitar clinics. He was on break and I walk up to him, shook his hand, told him he has a new fan, me . He replied with wow thanks! and do you have the cure for hearing loss? I laughed replied no, but earplugs and headphones do wonders to prevent that. Yes they do but they make me look funny. I then said thanks and nice to meet you. We shook hands again and he walked back on stage...
I watched him play for a while but had to leave .
